A user sent us this query … "I'm trying to find out if one has purchased a place with a partner "NOW EX" and the partner doesn't want to sign the offer to purchased received. What would ones' rights be. Bank tells me we can't force him to sign? But house is going to be reposessed & I'll be in trouble. He says he will liquidate himself so I will be liable 100% of the debt… JOY"

You can go to court for this and will most likely win.

Then the court will order him/her to sign or they will sign on his/her behalf.

You can contact an attorney for better legal advice.

I always use De bruyn vd Elst and Bokwa.
